About
Rafał Urbaniak completed his PhD at the University of Calgary. Presently, he is an assistant professor at the Philosophy Department of Gdansk University, Poland. He also is a researcher at the Centre for Logic and Philosophy of Science at Ghent University, Belgium.
His work is mainly in logic and philosophy of mathematics. Besides adaptive logics which are his main work area in Ghent he is interested in philosophy of mathematics, especially modal reconstructions of mathematical theories and the debates surrounding the role of existential claims in mathematics.
