Thesis Title: In situ XAS study of Atomic Layer Deposition on flat and porous substrates - deposition of bimetallic materials

In this project, the development of a setup should be obtained for performing Atomic Layer Depositions combined with in situ XAS measurements. This will allow to study the ALD process from the very first stages of the layer formation. As an applied case of this project, the deposition of bimetallic materials into porous supports by means of ALD will be developed and their formation process studied with in situ XAS. The bimetallic catalysts will be kinetically tested in a model reaction and compared with catalysts synthesized along conventional chemical routes.
