About
I am a filmmaker and obtained a PhD in Comparative Cultural Sciences. I made several (inter)nationally awarded films, published in (inter)national journals and direct a small non profit art production company (Elektrischer Schnellseher). I am interested in cross cultural and interdisciplinary work, relating fields such as film practice and anthropological research, curating and teaching with a focus on cultural identity, multicultural society, visual anthropology and migration. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Royal Academy of Art, University College Ghent and affiliated with the Ghent university.
